BKP 110 Byron

Certificate IV in Basic Kinesiology Practice
BKP 100 Series (HLT 42807)

Training begins with this stand-alone 14 unit certificate course, giving you powerful basic Kinesiology tools and the ability to register as a Level 1 Practitioner with the Australian Kinesiology Associations, AKA and AIK. BKP enhances skills and effectiveness of other health modalities.

Each of the 10 Kinesiology units consists of a minimum of 15 hours face-to-face instruction and 15+ hours of practical and written assignments. Competency assessments are part of each unit. Five tutoring and practice sessions assist in building confidence. Anatomy & Physiology, Business Administration and Clinical Health and Safety are correspondence units for flexible learning. Senior First Aid needs to be taken independently with a registered training organisation. Students attending classes at the Kinesiology Centre have the opportunity to be connected to ICPKP via the Internet and will be able to take part in the online student forum.
